Welp, I'm about 200 miles into 4.0 and beyond driving better than it ever has, my truck is seeing crazy good mpg.

I first installed 4.0 and got the dreaded CEL due to my decatted dump tubes, HOWEVER, with a little back and forth with @PapaRee he was able to provide me with the parameters that fixed it.
I always got the CEL at about 20-40 miles with both Mooseditty's tune and Kruiser 4.0. As stated, I'm at 200 now on 4.0 and no CEL. :fingerscrossed:

If you want the current top tune out there and have dump tubes and are getting the CEL, or of you're a tuner and want the fix, get with PapaRee and your CEL woes will (hopefully) be a thing of the past.

Wow is there a ton of parameters to change on the auto, and I thought my manual had a lot. Time to roll up the sleeves and start reading.

Cruiser 4.0? I thought 3.0 was latest? Maybe the '16 had an updated version I missed in this thread?

Dyno day for Kruiser 4.0 Premium and Regular versus stock on a mostly stock truck (no heavy add-ons, bigger wheels, or altered gearing). I’m going to capture 2000rpm to 7000 if I can.

@PapaRee yesterday I decided to try some hard pull with ECT on for 04B04 Kruiser 4.0 premium. I pulled out on the highway and the acceleration was nothing short of amazing and smile making. However, when the RPMs would max the engine made a distinct sound from shift to shift at redline I don’t believe I have heard before. It almost sounded like a small turbo letting of with a slight wheez. Is this normal? Just curious what you did to make it sound differently.

im not a fan of WOT, and I think it isn’t good for the engine to do a lot, but was genuinely curious

    HaHa!
That is something that I noticed when we were testing it. I told AJ and Dave that I love that “turbo Woosh”. So yes, it does this on my truck with wide open throttle. And yes I love it!
It is from the airload maps.

Cool. Do you have dyno plot from stock tune or do you plan to do some runs with stock and tune back to back?

Are you guys for real right now? Don't you think it would be a good idea to actually know what the noise is? If it's just intake noise, that's fine, but regardless I would want to know what it was before just assuming it was "ok", "good", or "normal".
