I have a Viair compressor that attaches to the battery terminals. Does anyone have any experience hooking one up to a Tacoma hybrid? Can I use the jump spot terminals under the hood or do I need to attach directly to the battery terminals?
    TIA

I wouldent see a problem attaching it to the jump terminals if theres threaded lugs there.

Did you find your answer on this and what did you end up doing.? I also have been looking at this and was planning on doing a connection to the battery under the seat, as I could not get confirmation on the Jump start terminals (heard yes and no).

If you don't already the Viair, consider a 120v compressor. You have 2400W to play with. Or get a 12v converter for your Viair so you don't have to open your hood or unbolt your rear seat.

I already have the Viair and I bought a quick disconnect, which I plan to run through the side vent under seat for easy access. I guess I need to learn more about what hybrid provides, as I do like your idea better to just be able to plus into bed plug!

Which viaair model do you have? Mine pulls something like 20amps so I put a trailer plug on it and just plug it into the trailer outlet on the rear bumper. On my 3rd gen it is rated for something like 30amps. Not sure about on the 4th gens.

It’s an older 300p, which I believe was 30 amp. I did see that, but for some reason I got mixed feedback, so I decided to go right off battery.

I tried it using the jump terminals and it worked. I just tested it to see if it works but haven’t inflated a tire yet.
