Just my 2 cents but the lower strut bushing on the drivers side doesn't look right.

3/2 RC lift. ECGS bushing swap. 1” diff drop. OME carrier drop. Still trying to get rid of the damn 2WD-only pulse vibe.
    How so?

Maybe they made a defective one? It's happened with a few businesses.

Sucks to hear your dealing with this. I’m going through it too. I had a Westcott lift and AAL lift installed recently, it’s only a 1.5” lift and the damn steering wheel shake and road vibration is getting really bad. Going into 4wd doesn’t make a difference. Didn’t think lifting it so little would make a difference. I ordered some JBA UCAs to get my castor up, as it’s only at 1.5 with the camber and toe in spec. I read and heard from multiple techs that once lifted you need to have the castor up much higher in the 3+ degree range. Did you try new UCA’s yet? I’m really hoping those plus the ECGS bushing solve my problem too. I’ll let you know how it goes.

ITS POSSIBLE.. if you hit a harmonic imbalance in the wheel/steering it will cause a death wobble especially if the steering is flat (0* Castor)... would need an alignment done to verify, and a cammera looking from the frame to the suspension/steering helps a lot as well.. a lot of straight axle jeeps experience this with a 3-4" lift on stock control arms.

the bolt is not centered in the bushing, if thats worn out(or defective) it could cause the vibs.

    SOLVED!

What, you ask, was the solution? Well, let me tell you. It was pulling the 3”/2” RC spacer kit off and replacing it with a 2” RC leveling kit consisting of lifted struts (ie no spacers). Some combination of no spacers, the new struts and 1” less lift finally did it, thank God. I was so damn tired of that vibe.

My opinion, from this point forward, is this: If you’re going to go 3” or more on a 3rd Gen Taco, spend $5K for a solid axle conversion. Otherwise, stick to 2” or less.

Thanks to everybody for their input.
