Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I had vibrations at 20-30mph after my lift. I added axle shims, but the angle apparently wasn't enough. I then used a stack of washers as spacers on each bolt and dropped the carrier bearing 1/2-3/4" (I forget exactly) and the vibrations have never come back.

Great to hear. Just got the drop bracket. I'll be looking at the shims next.

I played around with the carrier bearing drop, added 6 washers per side, 4 washers, 1 washer, 7 washers, finally 2 washers did the job, 98% no vibe. Will try and flip the carrier bearing and see if that helps.

How much did that run you? I think this may be in my near future.

It was around $300 from Napa after the core charge. It was kind of a pain to get the old bolts off, but it was nasty with lots of leaks and slop. Seems like a good thing to do with my larger tires as well.

I haven't quite cured my highway vibes, but I believe the theory is to take driveline angle measurements, find the working angles of the U joint, and keep that angle in spec. I think it is supposed to be no greater than 2* You can change these angles by dropping the carrier bearing and/or by adding angled shims between your leaf springs and rear axle.

Maybe someone can confirm the operating angles?
