Im hoping someone can offer some answers on this one. Last Thursday a friend of mine installed a full OME lift with new UCA”s. When I drove home that night it road great. No vibration, no wandering on highway, it road great. Well today I went down to firestone against my better judgement and got a lifetime alignment. As soon I got up to 40 I have a vibration. It didn’t speed up and slow down with acceleration but was there at 40. Really obvious vibration that I could feel in pedal and steering wheel. It did go away on the highway though so I’m tempted to just leave it alone. I spend 6 hours at firestone today, they rebalanced tires but that had nothing to do with it because it wasn’t there when I dropped it off. I wonder if the alignment, moved the tires in just enough to cause the driveshaft to be off now.

Needle bearing? Does the vibe go away in 4wd?

You know that’s a good question. I thought it did go away in 4wd. I brought it right back to firestone after 1 mile. 3 hours later same vibration. Could they have damaged the needle bearing? It was fine before they touched it

It's common for the needle bearing to fail after lifting. No, Firestone wouldn't have caused it. But if it goes away in 4wd it's likely the needle bearing- or at least that's a good place to start the process of narrowing down potential issues.

It could also be something else. Vibes after lifting aren't uncommon. Spend some more time on the forum and you'll see hundreds, if not thousands, of posts about the vibes.

Thanks for the input. Just crazy coincidence. I just do another test drive and the noise and vibe def goes away when you engage 4wd. Headstrong did include and driveline soccer with the kit so I’m going to install that and hope it’s a driveline issue.
