I have a vibration that happens when I let off the gas. While cruising 40-50. It sounds like I’m on the humble strip for about a second then go away until I have let off the gas again. Rear drive shaft is a toms woods and is still “young”. Front DS u joints seem solid.
Drivers side cv axle is a couple years old and I did that special metal bushing in the diff.
how much play should a cv axle/joint have?
Anyone else have this strange vibration?

My 4-runner did the same thing for years. Never did figure out what caused it.
