    Hello All,

I recently installed a 2.5 inch spacer lift in the front and 1 inch blocks in the rear.

I immediately notice vibrations when driving. It occurs only in the first 10 miles or so of driving then goes away.

There are no differential drop kit installed.

Does anyone here know what could be causing the vibrations? Does NOT having the wheels aligned yet have anything to do with this??

Does it feel/sound like it's coming from the driver's side?

Axle wrap welcome to lift issues. Yes aligning will help a bit, but mine does the same thing. An AAL or Leaf pack should fix that problem

    Vibration comes from front wheels.

Just ordered drop kit, will install and update thread if issue is fixed or not. Next, an alignment I guess.

100% paved, no need for $$-$$$ lift.

Yeah... have fun replacing all sorts of stuff when you donk your diff due to the drop kit.

The vibes are likely from the rear blocks and not the front.

Sounds like the same problem I have in my 2012. Put it into 4x4 when you feel the vibes. They should go away. If they do it's the drivers side needle bearing that has too much play in it. Search ECGS for a bushing that fixes the problem in pretty much 100% of the cases. If it doesn't go away in 4x4 it's something else.

Skeeter, I started the truck out this morning in 4WD as you stated, sure enough the vibration did not occur. Several miles later I put it back in 2WD and the vibes came right back – strange.
I will follow with your suggestion for the remedy, (although I have no clue what it is yet). Thanks, this forum has been very helpful.

3" Supreme Suspension Lift Kit, Bilstein 5100, K&N, Curtis Tatton driveshaft, Detroit Trutrac, some other doodads...
hey everyone, been reading up alot on the vibration issues everyone is having after lift or leveling kits. I have a 2005 Tacoma reg cab 4cyl manual. I just installed a Supreme Suspension 3" lift. The kit included diff drop, rear shims with blocks, and I threw on Bilstein 5100's. After the lift, I was getting a bad rattle coming from the 3rd member. Just bought a new one from ECGS and rattle went away, but still getting some vibration. Doesnt seem to be coming from the front, definitly feels like the rear, almost like my driveshaft is a little off balance. With that said, I also have not yet had alignment done, wanted to wait until I pick up new tires (BF 255/85R16's). what advice can anybody give me? should i go ahead and order the front bushing kit from ECGS?

strangely after all my bitchin about the vibes, it has gone away since the weather got warm - never did anything to fix it. Strange but great! The last two months have been good. My luck is... the cold weather had a factor on the vibes.

No difference on road. of course I will admit that I ride 100% on the road, lift is primarily for looks.

...yeah yeah, I know what you off roadies gonna say.
