Without digging through all the lift threads I would like to have a straight comparison to see who has had the needle bearing issue after lifting, and whether it was taken care of by the dealership via the TSB for the 2nd gens.

It's not noise, it's vibration. I have no intention of bringing it to the dealer as they didn't lift it, I did

As much as the needle bearing vibration bothered me on my 2007, how is it a warranty issue? If I put in a huge powerful sound system and it vibrated something in the door is that a warranty issue? How about if I installed aftermarket tires and one of them was out of round, should Toyota fix it?

I wish Tacoma would have addressed this in the 2016 but they did not and unless it vibrates at stock ride heights Toyota has no obligation to fix it.

The only noise I had when I lifted my last Tacoma was my girlfriend yelling at me for buying more shit.

As others mentioned, it's a vibration post lift that you're looking for and not a noise.
