my 99 prerunner xcab vibrates between 40 and 45 mph and is smooth at all other speeds. I've repaced the struts, shocks, brakes and rotors--any suggestions?

    driveline maybe...

I had a vibe at 40-45 and it was the u-joints. Go see if they have any play, also check your center support bearing to see if it has play. I did the two servicable rear u-joints and the center bearing and the vibes want away.

Could even be a grease issue, when is the last time you greased the driveline?

you've got 4 real options left.

    ~Road force balance tires.
    ~grease/replace u joints
    ~replace carrier bearing
    ~get a tom woods 1 piece shaft.

I recommend going down the list, until it fixs the problem

Thanks for the great advice, I'll start with the easy job, have the tires rebalanced and then takle the u-joints
