Do you have service records for any work done to the truck, or otherwise know when/if regular maintenance was performed? Basically everything on OP's list in the first post is suspect if you have no knowledge of them being serviced.

There are a couple easy ones to look at first - grease the driveshaft (6 zerks), check lower balljoints with a pry bar, check upper ball joints and UCA bushings for play by rocking tire back and forth when it's off the ground (you'll need a jack for this). Getting an alignment and wheel balance would probably be my next step, just to see where it's at - if the front wheels have excessive weight to balance them, try rotating those to the rear.

If none of that turns up anything obvious and you don't know if services have been performed, I'd probably start replacing bushings, ball joints, tie rods, and carrier bearing as regular preventative maintenance.

I don't have any service records. I bought from the fourth owner but the frame looks mint and the interior and engine bay all seem well cared for (except the wiper fluid reservoir) and the OBD and trans scan returned nothing.

I'm taking it to a local shop tomorrow cuz I got it registered and tagged now, so once they get it on the lift I can check the wheels for play.

Not looking forward to the fact that it seems there's about 9 things to check and a different thing solved the issue for a couple people

Thats the thing with older vehicles unfortunately...bushings, mounts, bearings, u-joints, etc all deteriorate with age and have to be checked or replaced eventually. It helps quite a bit to save some $ by doing some of the easier stuff on your own, lots of good write ups and videos on this site for most things
