    Yeah.
My '09 did something similar, although it did it at higher speeds as well. They started with the front brakes, which did not fix it, then replaced drums/shoes on the rear which did fix it.

I was able to hook up my trailer and Pioneer 500 to put some weight on the hitch. I didn't feel the vibe hardly at all so I am going to cancel the service appt and try and give it some time. Thanks everyone for the advice. It rode so much better with 200lbs on the hitch.

My 20 DCLB does it also. I'm @ 7500 miles. I plan to bring it up to the dealer when it goes in @ 10K miles.

I think they all do it to an extent.

My 2020 DCSB TRDOR does it and has had the drums replaced to no avail. FWIW, these trucks all have odd vibes, creaks, groans, and whatnot...definitely not for those looking for a super smooth experience.

I have a little vibration when my truck is empty. It's also a little worse when in neutral or the clutch is in, Yes it's stupid that the truck does it, but not a huge deal for me. Dealer said they all do it. o_O

I am surprised no one has posted this so far.
Not to discount brake issues and needle bearings and on and on, but there are many threads about driveline deceleration vibration at TW.
Toyota acknowledges it and there is a TSB. Once I talked to the service manager
and shop guy (not service reps) I easily demonstrated it and it got fixed. I believe lifting makes the issue worse
and Toyota won't touch it if you lifted (per tsb).
It IS "normal" because they all do it to some extent, but some are worse than others and unacceptable.
After the tsb, if I really pay attention, I can still detect it but it is greatly reduced (and my ride is stiffer due to beefier leaf springs). Very acceptable now.
Just in case this is the problem with your truck. It was with mine.

My tacoma always sat perfectly level, and never had any bad vibration... really any for that matter. My 2001 tundra always had a tiny bit you could feel through the seat. Toyota knew about it, but claimed its just the nature of the truck. I think once it hit 200k miles it ran even smoother.

If you have OR, you probably already have the stronger leaf springs. Some early 2016 OR did not. There is a table in the TSB
to figure out if your OR has them or not.
I don't know if the steering wheel dampener is in the same category as leaf springs, but as I read it, the whole TSB either applies or it does not,
    based on that table.

Edit: I see you posted you have a 2020. No TSB for you.
Although, you might ask the dealership to check the driveline angles per the TSB
but they won't be able to charge toyota for it under the TSB since it does not apply to your truck. That is, assuming you actually have the problem bad enough to fret over. They all do it to some extent even after the TSB...but the TSB can make a huge diffeence as it did for me. The problem is the design of the 2 part driveshaft and it bouncing around with the carrier bearing. The vibration is transmitted to the frame via the carrier bearing mount. Some actually get a single piece driveshaft (serious modders/lifters i think).

    Thanks.

I am on my second set of drums at 16,000 miles...the replacement set seemed bad from the start.

It always happens when they rotate tires and I have a suspicion that the use of torque sticks instead of hand torque may be in play.

I don't know enough to really say that but that is all I can think of since I should have all the "right" parts on a 2020.

I made a further edit to the my post you quoted. You might want to take a look.
I had my tires rotated (2018 SR5) via toyota care schedule and it never changed anything for me.
You may have a different problem from the one the TSB addresses.

I know this was posted awhile ago but this would have been nice to see. Bought a used Tacoma SR V6 4x4 that this describes perfectly. Too bad my warranty finished last month otherwise I would have taken it in the for this. Thought it was front rotors so replaced those but seems like it might be this. Going to get an alignment and replace drum brakes and if that doesn’t fix it then I might have to live with it….awesome link though.

if you reported the problem to the dealership while it was still under warranty, you might ask them if they could cover it now. they should have volunteered the tsb if they
were aware of the problem. may still be hope...maybe goodwill, etc. worst they can say is "no". good luck.

bought the truck with 27k miles and 3 months left of warranty 4 months ago, never mentioned it to them/taken it to the stealership. Appreciate it though.
