My truck is 2wd, roughly 75k on the clock. I hit a deer a while back, think that may have been when the vibrations started... Only occurs around 30-35 miles an hour. Any suggestions on what it might be would be appreciated.

Nothing, have an appointment at Discount Tire to get wheels balanced in case thats the issue but I doubt it, as I've had severely un-balanced KBro2's before and it feels different. Figured I'd come to TW first and see what people think.

You could have thrown a wheel weight, knocked it out of alignment, or bent some stuff. You didn't mention the extent of the damage from hitting the deer. How much of the front end needed replacing? If none, the vibe may not be related to the deer.

You're doing the right thing by starting with the cheap possibilities and working your way to the more expensive stuff.

Well I live in the TX Hill Country so the deer here aren't the size of some ya'll have in montana. I also have a pre-runner style bumper just slightly more beef to it. Didn't need any repairs at all, the truck came out un-scathed but for some reason I feel like that's around the same time the vibrations started happening.... The fastest I was going was probably 45-50 and I hit the head and vitals region of the deer not the whole body.

I'm sure you would have mentioned if you had noticed the truck handling funny, other than the vibe. Whatever it is, it will be an easy fix once you find it.

Other than vibes in the steering wheel no handling issues to speak of... So that being said you don't think its a UCA or LCA do you?

    Nope

An impact like that could bend the tie rod or shift the LCA if the bolts were under torqued

both would have other symptoms, not a vibe
