Hi there. I am new to TacomaWorld and also a new Tacoma owner. I recently purchased an automatic 07 4wd double cab longbed with 162k miles bone stock. Since I got the truck it has been making this vibrating sensation that almost feels/sounds like gurgling oil? It starts when I shift into reverse and then goes away when I take my foot off of the brake. Once I shift into drive however the vibration seems to continue until I get up to a certain speed. It seems to come and go and is frightening to me because this is a new truck and I put a good chunk of change into the purchase. I just got the oil changed and the tires aligned and the vibration still happens. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Thanks!

Does the vibration happen only when you have the front wheels turned as in backing out of a parking spot and then go away as you straighten up or does it also happen if you just back straight and then pull forward?

It happens when the wheels are straight and then goes away when I release the brake but then continues once I shift back into drive. Then it seems to fade away once I speed up

Ok. Not what I was thinking then. Sometimes when turning especially, you can have a shudder coming from the rear differential.
    Good luck.
