So i killed my rear driveshaft offroading this past weekend. When I installed my original lift (ome leafs) i had a slight vibration that was cured by the ome cb drop. So i had my driveshaft retubed/rebuilt with new u joints, new carrier bearing. When i reinstalled it I have a vibration again.

I was wondering if new u joints/carrier bearing in the same set up could cause a different vibration.

    Driveshaft configurations
    - Stock / no lift / original shaft = no vibrations
    - lifted / original shaft = start up vibrations
    - lifted / original shaft / cb drop = no vibrations
    - lifted / new shaft / cb drop = vibrations 20-22 + 50-60 mph

I am going to try taking out the cb drop and see if that helps, but i figured with the same angles as before there wouldn't be vibrations with new u joints and carrier bearing.

Make sure your carrier bearing is centered properly and you're not introducing a compound angle. And check the u-joints for proper lubrication (yes even if they're new)

Have you had the shaft checked for balance? I know it was just rebuilt but perhaps the balance isn't good.
