I asked both Toyota and Firestone about using that Haweka flange plate. Both of them acted as if it was unnecessary with the 9000 Road Force balancer.

The Tires were replaced last week. So if I can get the balance problem solved I'm golden.

    Thanks Kyouto/Fritz!

LOL OK so I have the new tires and the truck is now pulling to the left. I drive it about a week like this until I'm sure I'm not imagining it and have time to take it back to Firestone... again.

I take it to the closer store. They put it on the alignment rack and say it's fine. Print out verifies this. THEN they tell me they test drove it and it was fine. One the way home I drive on both sides of the crowed road and try to persuade the truck from ramming itself against the Jersey barrier. Today I have time to take it back to the original shop.

I show them the alignment chart and ask them what else it could be. They tell me to take it to Toyota. Knowing damn well what it could be I ask them if at the very least they will swap the front tires side to side. He gets in a small argument with me about how it would be better to rotate them clockwise. Knowing this would be a pretty bad way to determine a radial pull, I insist they rotate side to side on the front only... they concede.

On the way home... sure enough it's pulling now to the right.

Does this mean the tire on the side pulling is bad, or the other?
