I've read all the "vibration" and "shudder" related threads so I jacked the truck up tonight and I don't feel excessive play in either front wheels (they move back and forth MAYBE 1/8") and also no growling noise (even spun the wheels while jacked up) so is it safe to assume it's NOT the wheel bearings?

I'm planning on getting the wheels balanced to rule that out in the next couple days since they're overdue for it anyway (I balance them once a year) and see what happens. It's not a violent vibration but steady and I can definitely feel it. I've changed nothing with the truck since I lifted it over a year ago and this is something that has started in the last couple days. Any further ideas would be welcome.

If it just started, perhaps you lost a wheel weight.

Had balance done today: still there. Seems SLIGHTLY better but not cured. I did a little "testing" and I only feel it between 30-40 MPH only. Guess I'll crawl underneath and see if everything is tightened up in the driveline.

2006 2x4 club cab, I'm having the same issue with my son's truck! I don't know what he does with it, but I'm sure he abuses it! I had the tires rotated and balanced and I can still feel it. I did a visual check on the shocks, motor mounts and drive shaft and I didn't see anything?

I have a 2008 and it has a very slight one at around 55 mph (but goes away before it hits 60)...but it has gotten a little better since the trans flush and not near as noticeable...
