    was up everyone,

I was coming down the mountain yesterday and every time I apply the brakes, and I got some vibration on my brake pedal. Not only that, but the truck started to rattle alot when braking downhill. Oh yea, my truck is still under factory warranty. Do you guys know if the warranty covers anything with the braking system of the truck? I would call the warranty department, but it being Saturday today, they are close. So maybe some of you can give me some advice before I call on monday. One other thing, I have a 04 double cab.

    Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the rotors to me in which case they would not be covered under any factory warranty.

I agree about the most likely culprit being rotors, calipers, or pads.

However... ABS was standard on your 2004 Taco, and vibration when braking could also be a symptom of a faulty sensor, actuator, or controller in the ABS.

Now, the only time it does this is when I am going downhill. But when I am on a straight road and brake, there is no vibration or rattle. But I will probably have them check it out.

There was a recall on the front suspension control arm lower ball joint. do you guys think this might be causing the vibration.
