    Hey guys picked up. 2001 dc Tacoma 4x4 this is my 3rd Tacoma. Love them. Well this one had a vibration when I bought it (picked it up cheap) so anyway went ahead and did bilstein 5100s new roots pads and calipers. And after all that I still have a vibration when breaking it's worse the faster I'm going as I try to stop. I haven't got my Alignment yet only been one day because if it's balljoints I'll need another. But anyway guys I'm stumped what could this be! Please help a taco lover out.

    id say check all your balljoints and get alignment first because it could be that(also make sure your wheels are balanced). but maybe it could be some of your steering bushings? considering you replaced the rotors pads and calipers there is not too many other things it could be. does it look like its been in front end collisions before?

    Check if wheels are tightened properly, Check tires for balancing (weights), check for bad rotors, check rear drum balance (they have weights on them I believe and can fall off over time), check drive shaft balance (also have weights), also if rear drums are adjusted too much it can cause shake on braking I'm outta ideas after that

    Go back and RE-check everything you replaced....sometimes WE miss a simple bolt or torque something just enough to create NEW problems...

    It does sound like one of the rotors is causing this BUT if they are NEW warranties should apply...

    If all else fails there is a shop up near you trusted by your NH neighbors;

    archiesoffroad in Wells... great people and a "local sponsor" over at

    http://forums.exploringnh.com/forum.php

    Good luck..

    Archie's my cousin. Thanks for the help guys. I rechecked everything. And I don't think it can be a rotor because after replacing the rotors it started doing it right away. It's gotta be ball joints or wheels out of balance
