I would have gone with the last gen tundra with the 4.7. best size and power I think, still more than my needs though

mine does this too, I thought it was some sort of braking "assist" until I got on here and realized I've been bamboozled by Toyota. Just one more thing I'll have to live with.

    Thanks Modesto!

Anyone have any luck with the above TSB reference? does this lead to having you're leafs changed?

The few people here who've gotten their rumble fixed (bulldog...etc....) via leafs/damper, seemed case by case, but if there's a TSB reference, maybe we all can get some traction.

Picking up my truck in an hour after a full leaf replacement..
No TSB just told em' it's bullshit and they agreed. Service manager was trigger happy on anything warrantable.
If and when it squeaks under warranty i'll be in for another replacement.

RESURRECTING and SUBSCRIBING because it's driving me freaking crazy. Sounds a lot like the 2016 TSB although no details are out there that I can find. 13K miles on my truck and it's done that since new. Had the alignment checked twice within the last week alone. The theory the alignment guy told me today is that tall skinny tires on trucks sometimes do that. I Googled that and there seems to be some credence to that theory. This kid looked to be about 28 and he said he'd been doing alignments at Discount Tires for 10 years.....He seemed like a ninja with the equipment and clearly knew his shit. He also mentioned Firestone Destination LE2s aren't exactly the best "skinny" tires either. I have the stock 245 75-16s on my SR5.....Tall and skinny. Which makes for WONDERFUL noise control and comfort, but when coming almost to a stop it feels exactly as the OP described.
