Negative. Take all the weight off, and spin the tire on the wheel 180 degrees, then air it up and re- balance it. It's not a guarantee, but it does work in some cases.

Exactly as shelf said. Doing this reseats the tire on the wheel. Sometimes if they don't use enough lube, it doesn't seat properly. Moving it 180 degrees on the wheel would counteract if they happened to mount the high spot on the wheel with the high spot on the tire. This isn't as big of a deal these days as it was 30 years ago. Tolerances for both wheels and tires is much tighter now, but certainly doesn't hurt.

Put the front ones on the back see if it goes away you are less likely to feel a shake from balance then the front.

If u never had an alignment done before . It’s recommended when changing to new tires . Another thing u can do is road force balance the tires . When I installed my new tires I had vibrations . The alignment helped but was not completely gone . I had them road forced balance them that made a huge difference .i still had a little vibration . Once the tires wore in the vibration seems to resolve it self .

My BFG AT's run significantly better well above PSI on the door for some reason, cheap and maybe worth a shot. I run them around 44 PSI

Thanks, all. I have an appointment at Discount Tire tomorrow at 2PM. I'm hoping it will be resolved at that time. I think it's coming from the driver side front. On examination, the wheel weights are piled by the stem. I wonder if that is problematic at all? And/or perhaps the tire is out of round? Not sure, but it sure is annoying!

Fingers crossed for an easy fix.

It should if they know how to use it, yes.
The GSP9700 is not a magical balancer. It’s a diagnostic tool to determine if you have a wheel or tire issue and can optimize them to reduce vibration.

Just a follow-up, Discount Tire found that I was missing 4 ounces of weight on the driver side rear wheel, fixed free of charge. Hoping that fixes my vibes. We will see on the ride home tonight.

    Best,
    Michael
