Vibration/ wobble at mid range speeds.

damn i've never thought about that. my truck shakes so friggin bad. guess this is a good reason for me to buy some new rims . i treid putting someone elese rim's on and it didn't shake any more but i just figured it was the tires.

 

more than likely its the wheels, it was in my case anyway.

 

I'm not sure if this applies to a single cab or not but have you considered the center bearing ? (also called carrier bearing ) If it is a 2 piece driveshaft you may want to check it. Also the size & type of tires seem to affect toyotas pretty dramatically.

 

are you talking about the front wheel bearings or what ever they are called. and ya my tires are pretty beefy for a little toyota haha.

 

No. the bearing I'm refering to is a bearing that supports the drive shaft (if this is what you have) It's mounted about midway down the drive shaft & supported by a cross member thats mounted across the frame rails.

 

no i dont think i have that my shafts come right out of the diff and down to my hubs
