I have a 2006, 6 speed manual. It has a 6 inch Rough Country lift on it. I'm getting a vibration that is very noticeable in the gas pedal and floorboard. I cannot feel the vibration through the gear shifter or steering wheel. The vibration is still noticeable even when it's in neutral and I'm just coasting down a hill. I'm terrible at troubleshooting. Anyone have an idea what it may be?

Can you determine if it's related to engine RPMs or speed of the truck? That would at least get you started in the right direction.

I appears to be more noticeable with a lower RPM. Generally between 1500-2000. The vibration lessens the higher the RPM's go, or if I accelerate quickly.

An engine miss/misfire could cause a vibration. You'd be able to tell if you still feel it when parked/stationary and rev it to 1500-2000 RPMs. If it's smooth when sitting still, it's probably driveline related. Driveline vibration are common when you start lifting Tacos. Especially with 6" of lift. Are you 4wd or 2wd?

It doesn't vibrate when at a standstill idling in neutral, or when I rev the engine. I had the carrier bearing replaced after the lift was installed (I didn't need the bearing replaced, as there was no issue, I just did it because Toyota said they would replace it for free). That was about 2 years ago. I rarely take the truck off road. Yes, it's a 4WD. So I don't know if the bearing has already worn out, or if there is another issue.

Ok, I'm gonna lean toward driveline vibration. Lifts, especially 6" take a toll on carrier bearings. May need angled shims under leaf spring to get driveshaft back in alignment. Just to rule out front driver needle bearing, next time you take a drive, put into 4wd and see if it has any effect on vibration. And like @wilcam47 said. Check driveshaft for grease zerks. If you've got em grease em.
