Just keep returning it to the dealer and if it keeps coming back make them give you a free extended warranty. Then if you live in california get an attorny nd do the CA lemon law

HOW I FIXED MY VINRATION . Figured it was only fair to post how I fixed the vibration in my 2018 Tacoma , might help someone. Installed a 3” lift with add-a-leaf in rear and a diff and hanger bearing drop. Got that vibration at 20 +/- 5 mph . Felt like knobby tires that changed with the speed or tire rotation . I could feel it in the steering wheel, gas and brake peddle . Could not feel it in the stick. Drove me nuts trying to find it . Took the diff drop out ( permanently out now ) and still had it . Moved hanger bearing spacers to both extremes and in between, still had it. Next I put a 3 degree shim between the axel and springs . Bingo ,, smooth as silk from 0-100 mph now. No more diff drop and the hanger bearing is now back in the stock location . The drive shafts are perfectly in line at the same angle . Works great now .

Did you add new wheels/tires when you put your lift on? If so, I would start with simple things like checking the balance before you start tearing into your truck.

Just a thought, I have never personally had vibrations after a lift so idk

Nope , no new tires or wheels yet. Only added a lift kit so far . The truck was perfect before I messed with it by adding the lift . It’s really simple. (at least as I see it ) The pinion angle of the rear diff was changed in reference to the angle of the transmission when it was lifted . Once the pinion angles were close to equal from the shim and the driveshaft straight , problem solved .

Bilstien 2/1 level kit with 5100’s front (top setting) and 5160’s in the rear Ecgs bushing Prinsu cab rack Bestop Cali raised ditch lights Rago fab bed stiffeners Rssw heritage wheels with 32” ko2’s Westin bed mat Pro grille and tail lights Led dome, map and licence plate lights
I had a vibe from stock put in a 2” lift and the ecgs bushing and it feels alot smoother now. The amout of play in the stock needle bearing is horrible amd causes drivelive vibrations and makes it worse when you lift it.

Should someone without a lift install a ecgs bushing?

You don’t have to, but they’re a cheap fix if you do it yourself

I just got mine lifted with a 3inch lift and when I'm stopping you feel a vibration..
I also got an alignment done..
I have a 2wd, trying to see if anyone would have a clue where to start with this issue.

    Thanks!

I just lifted my 2015 trd off rd 3inches
And Immediately got the vibration/ rumble.
    At around 10-20mph.

I did the 4x4 hi test and it doesn’t go away.

Should I change the needle bearing anyway? Or is it something else.

I also had the front end alignment.

    Thanks.

Yes it came with the diff drop kit.
    I install it as well.

also I just installed the carrier bearing drop kit....it did not help at all.

I got under my Tacoma this morning and on the driver side I can move cv axel up and down and left to right like the bearing has slack. The passenger side is tight with no slack.

At risk of being shit on for weighing in on this in the past I have to say this is just my experience and I’m not a professional , So here it goes with lifts and driveline vibes I had really bad vibes with my 2010 double cab after lifting with OME 885 coils with 5100 shocks with a 3/8 spacer(On the lowest perch) I also put camburg uca’s (ball joint) then added the OME carrier bearing drop kit and 3 degree shim for the OME medium duty leaf pack and it took care of 90% of the vibrations. I put the same set up on my 2020 and it had the same results I am also planning on changing the needle bearing soon, also don’t forget to stretch out the cv axel boots so the folds aren’t rubbing, the angles are more dramatic from the lift. Hope this makes sense if anyone has questions PM me and I will try to explain or see this thread

I have this same problem. It stays even I switch it to 4x4 and I don't have a diff drop kit I do have driveshaft spacers that came with my lift kit. Old Man Emu lift kit with dakar HD leaf springs. When I install the spacers I did take the bracket off instead of keeping it on and doing one side at a time.

I did fix most of my vib issues.
I went in to install my shims on my rear axel, once I was there I measured the blocks again but instead of a tape measure I used a set of calipers and my blocks were tapered very so slightly about 1/16th of an inch. I spun the blocks around 180degree and now I don’t have any cobble stone vibes. I do have the needle bearing vibe very slightly and plan on changing it soon.
