im not sure how they were balanced, but it was done at American tire.

    steering wheel.

i checked it all and it does seem to be tight.

seems like the 4th gen 4Runners have this issue as well.

might do a drain and fill tommo and see if it helps.

    so far i did.

full tranny flush with the shudder fix. didnt help
turning on 4wd didnt make it go away
got all tires balanced and rotated. didnt help
checked for play and noise in the wheel bearings. seem all good

and today i removed the driveshaft and drove in 4wd.....no vibration.
so i read on a thread here to flip the carrier bearing, didnt help.
then to put a spacer on the carrier bearing. didnt help either.

so my driveshaft could be bad or a failing u joint.
will call tommo to a driveshaft shop and see what they can do for me.

Had a similar issue recently in my girlfriend’s Subaru OB.. the driveshaft flex coupling was damaged. If you’ve ruled out wheels and the front end, maybe a culprit or something similar.

    EDIT-
Missed that post... But sounds about right. Good luck!

Since it's lifted, did you check the pinion angle?
