All I can say is, you pay all the money for a brand new truck and you expect it to perform like "a brand new truck", not a new truck with issues. If there is a fix (TSB) for a known problem then I intend to have it fixed and not worry whether it may worsen in the future. Just my 2 cents worth!

I haven't noticed anything but this thread got me driving with the radio off analyzing every vibration the truck makes.

It just blows my mind that Toyota has known about this problem since 2016 and the TSB covers vehicles 2016 to 2021. You mean to tell me that Toyota can't remove a known problem like a vibration in 5 yrs. WTF ????? This issue is only applicable to Tacoma's, no other model. I watched a YouTube video the other night created by a Certified Toyota mechanic. He talked about all the good and bad features on the Tacoma, including vibration. He said that vibration in the drivetrain is inherent in them at all different levels, some a little and some a lot. Said, if you "picky" drivers that notice everything can't live with some vibration, then don't buy a Tacoma.

Don't know of what vibrations these trucks have? I don't have any in mine. Except for a more taunt ride than my tundra, its certainly a smoother running truck.

When i read this i do remember something during the first 1200 miles or so with my truck...a very slight vibration coming to a stop. If you put the automatic transmission stick in natural it wasn't there. I suspected the converter at the time. This vibration has long gone away, and hasn't come back. Might be something to do with these transmissions learning your driving habits, or they just need time to break in. Everything, at least with my truck seemed very tight when new.....only had .6 miles on the odo when i took possession of it. Right now at nearly 9k miles i can't ask for it to run any better.

I am revising my claim that tsb 0124-20 resulted in 75% reduction in deceleration vibration between 30 and 10 mph.
With more experience i'd say it is more like 90%.
I know these numbers are subjective - there is no objective measure as to what the % means...but it has value none the less.
Yesterday i had to stop hard and short and no teeth chattering.
If i really pay attention i can still detect the vibration when decelerating but i really have to look for it.
The steering wheel vibration is completely gone thanks to the damper.

If you read the tsb carefully, once the steering wheel damper is installed, toyota only measures joint angle to find a reason not to replace the springs.
no shimming or angle adjustment is done.
I believe it is the replacement of the springs with off-road springs that really makes the difference.
Hopefully you will get a shop guy with much experience that is trying to fix the problem - mine was great and knew exactly what was going on.
    we discussed it at length.

It is great that some don't have this particular problem. There are other vibration problems i don't have that might be solved by needle bearings or axle replace or brake replace or converter etc.
I was only interested in fixing my truck and this tsb is the only one that made sense (i am a mechanical engineer by training).
tsb 0124-20 specifically addresses deceleration vibration (braking or not) between 30 and 10 mph and IT WORKS.
Reading posts of those that had this problem and had the tsb done, the success rate is very high for the problem it specifically addresses.

My truck is now a pleasure to drive.

I agree with everything you've stated. Mine is 90% (subjective) gone also but is still there slightly when I decelerate from 30 to 10. Service Manager said neither the Dealer or Toyota is going anywhere. Drive the truck for a couple of thousand miles and let everything wear and work in. If I'm not satisfied, bring the truck back and they'll take it to the next level with Toyota. So, that's what I'm doing.

I found if you drive carefully and accelerate slowly it does not vibrate that bad or not at all.

My 21 OR has horrible vibrations that are on acceleration and deceleration, almost like a drive shaft shivering. The dealership tried to tell me this is normal on a ride along. I’m going to try a different one with this TSB

Seems any of these vibrations are related to the trd or. Buddies 2019 trd or has a slight vibration since new that comes and goes at various speeds. Toyota has already told him its very normal for the model. So far it has gotten worse.
