6inch rough country lift on 33s
Hey guys. I have a 2020 trd sport Tacoma. 6inch rough country lift on 33s. Recently I have been getting a bad vibration under my truck while driving. Doesn’t matter with the speed but vibrates at a low rpm. Feels almost like the motor is sputtering. It just started happening out of the blue. Let me know what you guys think or have any questions that I can answer to help myself out.

Maybe carrier bearing vibrations for your drive shaft since it’s lifted, may I suggest a Tom Woods single piece drive shaft

Could be a loose fastener, there's a lot of new bolts on those lifts. I'd start by putting a wrench on every bolt. Especially the differential mounts and drive shaft flange.

I was thinking about I was thinking about doing a carrier bearing soon! If I was going to do a one piece driveshaft, am I still going to use the carrier bearing or does that delete it?

The carrier bearing would no longer be in play and you’d be getting a heavier duty drive shaft

All of your angles are off due to the lift so the vibrations could very well be due to angles

    Probably this…^

It could be the needle bearings, to a horrible pinion angle. Or just a shit suspension.
