End of summer, getting cooler, fish are coming back.

 

Another day, another lake.





Boat is coming along nicely, just about have it dialed. Need a few more lbs worth of anchor at the front to keep from being blown off the shoal.

 

Met the new 2019 Sport in the family; Did the AC mod and ordered some Meso goodies for them.

-31c here these last few days, I’ve been enjoying the underground parkade at work but plugging it in overnight.

Starting to suspect my oem batt is going- I’m losing trip odo on cold starts..



Also I’ve been enjoying the Auto-lsd, easier in parking lots than having it in 4wd, and you get some spinny drift before the stability takes over..

Holidays at the hill.

 

Having some funny battery issues. Trip odo restarts, hard starts at -25c, the usual for an OEM battery giving up after 6 years..

Added a gauge to watch it, constant power with a switch so it is only on when I want to check it. I use the same gauges on my trolling motor in my fishing boat.



I've got a group31 tray coming in the mail from Element, and some other battery goodies on the work bench. The fix is in the mail you might say.

added the fuse to the constant empty slot


then to the switch, to the meter, then ground on the e brake bracket. Put everything back together and Bob’s you uncle.

 

You added a fuse to the bottom left slot? Didn’t realize that was a constant power

 

It is. Sunroof fuse is another constant. So are Hazard lights and any of the Door lock fuses.

The grungy velco always looked gross, and Gorilla sticky tape didn't quite sit right. Now it's clean and proper.
