I dont know Nanaimo well but like i said before there's a parking lot right on the highway off Northfield rd.
...or we can meet at a Timmies/Starbucks for you caffeine freaks.

 

I'll b on the island this Friday. Start school on monday, so i'm looking for something to do this sat/sun. How bout a meet then?

Welcome. . Sweet deal glad to hear! Perhaps we should arrange another day trip again for the near future. When is everyone free? I was up around mt prevost in Duncan a few weeks back there is so sweet stuff up there.

 

Im free from friday night to sunday night almost every weekend, ive only ever been up to Provost for Dh biking but the shuttle trails are awsome fun to rip around on, didnt know there was 4x4 trails have to check it out some time!!!

 

Sweet I have a weekend off every once and awhile. The wheelin is on the mts behind prevost actually lol. Do you care about a few minor surface scratchs?

 

i just got my truck bout a week ago so im still in the Babying it stage , id pefer not to scrath it up but shit happens lol!

 

ohhhh ya.. i remember that stage... hehehe then it was ah it's only clear coat it will buff out, then it was ah its a work truck it will look better with some scratches i need it to take me where i want to go. and now it's well if i brake something then it gives me a reason to upgrade it :-D but it took me 3 years to get to this stage.... still haven't upgraded anything... *knock on wood*

Sweet deal. I'm headed out towards mt prevost this Sunday with a friend your welcome to join us. I have never wheeled up campbell river area but is be excited to do some exploring. :-D

 

ya I'm up for a meet up, when and where do ya think you guys would want to wheel? logging roads around Lake cowi?

 

We know some tightish trails and hill climbs and places to play around mt prevost. Probably start there. Or depending if the gates at the bottom of kapour main in shawnigan lake are open we might go play up in there.

 

Gates at Kapour still closed due to fire hazard. I swung by Sun morning to see if they'd re-opened yet, but no such luck.

I was at bear creek resivoire on Sunday got there through sooke. There is a bypass trail around the gate that connects over to kapour. we could use it and then head over to wild deer lake and come out in Duncan. Might have to do a little trail work on a couple spots but that's all part of the fun.

 

im liking the sound of that, any idea about the time frame?

 

I'd like to start early... If everything goes smooth we might be able to hit both places. .where do you live hennij?
