Great information to know. I've been on the verge of picking one of these up, but if this is less than a month later, I'm going to have to look elsewhere. $1500 is a lot of money to a lot of people and I'd expect more at that price. My buddy has had an ARB for almost a year and it still looks like it did the day he got it. Not a fan of the look of the ARB, but the quality is A+ and for a bumper in the same price range you should get the same quality, not "you can go buy x product to touch up the rust areas".

Thanks again for the informative post!

It looks like other areas on your Taco are rusty. Do you drive it on the beach?

That's not rust, that's just your infamous Utah dirt. No, I don't take it to the beach.

Damn that’s shitty. I was set on buying one of these bumpers eventually, but maybe not now. Customer service goes a long way.

Victory 4x4 needs to switch powder coaters if the work is not up to their own quality standards.

Hard to believe Victory 4x4 wouldn’t stand behind their product since it is THEIR vendor doing the power coating work...they should honor a warranty claim for any defects regardless if it is their own work or their powder coaters work.

It isn’t like you sourced your own powder coater...numerous vendors here had similar issues and rectified it immediately. Sad.

Looks good from the top, but the fender liner showing is a no go.

In my experience this is a reality with most steel accessories. I wipe/spray my stuff down with fluid film or WD-40 and try to buy aluminum whenever I can. Living where it's winter or rainy just makes it worse. Sure would be nice to find some magic coating that can take gravel hits.

    2. How much damn preload do you have on those poor fox's. If you need that much, you need heavier springs. period.

It tells you the weight directly below the price.

If you are talking about the pics on page 1... I think that was a fitment demo. You cut the liners on this and most all aftermarket HC bumpers.

As for the rust... good luck finding many aftermarket steel accessories that won't pick up that little bit of oxidation.

Any follow up on this? I'm thinking of pulling trigger on this bumper, but a bit weary now.

I'm still working with customer service to a resolution and I didn't want to provide details until it's done. I may not have an update for a while as I'm still working through some personal chores. The bumper issue has been put on the back burner.
