    Hi Folks,

Looking for your expertise in diagnosing a strange noise that my 2007 Tacoma TRD Sport is making:
    • The truck is a Canadian 2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport quad cab with 129,XXX Km on it
    • The noise is a high-pitched wining noise that generally only occurs in cold weather
    • The pitch of the wining noise changes under acceleration and eventually subsides after hard acceleration
    • I asked my local dealership about it last oil change but unfortunately they couldn't replicate the sound
    Here's the video:

Thanks in advance for your help!!

    Brad

Strange. Good luck with finding results.

I can only guess it's a bearing somewhere in the accessory belt.

I'd guess a bearing too, try to shake each pulley on the belt to look for any play. My guess would be the idler pulley

Sounds like an alternator that I had with a bad bearing.

My guy says check power steering fluid. But he only gave it 8 seconds of attention.
