Nice work. Pretty straight forward. I lost the PS pump pulley a while back, so I need to get the new belt and install them.

Bump for a great simple how to.

I had time to tackle this today. Took me under 30 mins. I ordered pulleys as detailed in this post and got a Duralast belt from Autozone. Since I had it apart I did the tensioner and both the # 1 and #2 idlers. Only the right side #2 needed to be replaced...Can ya tell??

I'm trying to find just the bearings to replace. Are there any markings on them?

Do pulleys need to be oiled or anything prior to installation? Not very mechanic savy and remember we used to oil bearings for skateboards when I was younger.

No sir unless you're OCD. They're good to go out of the box.

I just made a post but Ill ask here also if that's cool. I want to make sure installation is correct. I bought my idlers elsewhere from your video. There's a washer included on the backing of the AC compressor idler. wondering if that's necessary since there wasn't one on mine originally. Would you be able to answer that for me?AC Compressor Idler.jpg

As far as I'm aware, as long as there is adequate clearance you shouldn't need it. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Excellent video. I did this myself a few weeks back. Took a wrong turn or two to get the serpentine oriented correctly. Double check the belt position after running the engine for a bit. Mine wasn't quite seated on one pulley and I'm glad I checked.

Thank you. I should be more diligent about photographing/videoing stuff I do. Time after time I wish I could go back and share what I did or see a detail of what something looked like when it was all apart.
