Most memorable was before home consoles when mom would drop you off at the arcade and $10 would let you play all the latest games all day until you got picked up.

First console Oddesey II. It was kind of the equivalent to the Atari 2600. If you look at either today you wonder how those moving blocks kept you entertained.

I have gone thru most consoles and PC games thru the years. Some games I spent more hours on than others.

Pac Man, Balloon Man, Galactica, Asteroids, Zelda, Mario, Super Mario, Doom, Lara Croft, Battlefield, Call of Duty and all the variants.

Ah Aladdins castle. We'd spend hours there while the parents shopped, watching someone beat Golden axe or Street fighter II. All those dollars converted to Aladdin tokens. images.jpg

There was a Pizza Hut down the street from me where I would go get a personal pan pizza and play street fighter 1 for a couple hours and usually beating all my challengers :)

How could I forget Oregon Trail, the best school PC game ever. That and Marathon.

    Not even Resident Evil :)

Nope. You don't want to see me with a controller. I'm terrible. On top of that I'd rather play first person and 99% of console games are third person.

Every day before elementary school all I needed was one quarter and I could stay on street fighter on the arcade game from 7am to the bell rung

I’m only 18 so I’m not familiar with most of the older games but... I remember playing a lot of hydro Hydro Thunder on our Sega and some other games like Dig Dug.

However, my all time favorite is Call of Duty Black Ops 2 on Xbox 360, specifically the multiplayer. I no-lifed that game with a bunch of friends in middle school/high school and it’s the last CoD that I really got into.

    Wish I had a Tacoma at 18 :)

You can see the difference in generation on some of the games mentioned here. I consider myself a 90’s kid.
