Well State of Decay finally has a release date. May 22nd. I enjoyed the first one so I'm going to get it of coarse. I'll admit it's not for everyone though.

 

Guess I am late and just missed out, but there is a Metal Gear Solid Survival??

It looks like basically MGS5 with zombies. This has just been bumped up to my next purchase.

Anyone play Squad on Steam?? One of the best tactical shooters Ive ever played and still early access. Think of a faster paced Arma but easier to get into for newcomers. Matches can be 30 min to over an hour.

 

Anyone play Wreckfest?? Game has improved so much over the past 6 months and with the mods its a lot of fun. If you go to their website you can get the game for $29 with bonus game instead of $40 for 1 game on Steam.

So Nintendo is doing a sort of weird rollout for the Wii Shop's death, and it's important that you know how it works in case you haven't picked up a few of its exclusive gems that will die horribly along with it.

To clarify yet again, on March 26, 2018, you can no longer apply funds to the Wii Shop. Meaning, if you haven't bought something by then, you're out of luck. On January 31, 2019, the entire store is kaput. Maddeningly, Nintendo is also closing out the following features in the future: "redownloading purchased WiiWare, Virtual Console titles, and Wii Channel, as well as Wii System Transfer Tool, which transfers data from Wii to the Wii U system."

Anyone pickup Far Cry 5? I've been so tempted to but I have so many projects that I fear if I get it then my car/truck projects will suffer.

 

My co-worker picked it up and says it's a lot of fun. Ton of stuff to do and best played in co-op but still good solo. I'm gonna get it next year once all of the DLC comes out and price is reduced.

 

It seems like I'm always buying GOTY copy's of games because it's a great deal.

 

So I borrowed this game and have already beat it. Its great at times, awful at times but mostly just frustrating from poor design, bugs and several crashes on PS4. If you have played the other games in the series then wait for a heavy discount on the complete edition, like under $30.

 

I went kind of reverse today, I fired up my Xbox 360 and downloaded the original Perfect Dark.

 

I watched a buddy of mine play that on his N64 back in 2000 something and I got motion sickness.

 

I used to get migraines every day playing Doom on the Sega 32X back in the summer of '96.

I got migraines also when playing Counter Strike. I actually vomited after one session of playing. Never played it again after that.

se7enine do you get motion sickness from playing or from watching? I was watching a longplay of the 32X version of Doom on YouTube for old time's sake but had to stop because I was starting to get a headache.

 

I get it mostly from watching but I did try and play an upgraded version of Golden Eye and that made me sick so I'm not sure. Fast paced FPS seem to be worse than normal RPG's.

 

I have the same issues and this is what works for me if I know I'm going to sit down and hammer in a few hours of FPS gaming. I can't watch other people game because I don't know where they are going and I can't track it. It's like watching movies that shake a lot, they make me sick too.


Here is what works for me:
- Dim the lights. For some reason bright rooms give me headaches when gaming.
- Eat before you game. I have a bad habit of not eating to begin with but if I'm hungry and game I get headaches much faster. If I eat good most of the time I don't get them at all.
- If you have glasses or contacts, wear them.
- Don't sit too close to the TV/monitor. I got a 65" TV and I sit 17ft away. When I'm in my gaming chair I'm 10ft away and notice I get headaches quicker when sitting closer.

 

My wife can't watch me play any FPS she will get motion sickness also. I've been playing for like 28+ years so I guess i'm use to it? Only time I get motion sickness is if I'm riding passenger with certain drivers, or anytime I try to read anything when riding passenger with anyone.

 

gets me everytime. i think its the surroundings passing by through my peripherials. never had an issue playing video games.

 

Same here. Though I always thought it was the reading material shaking fast from constant movement that the eyes move too fast trying to track the words resulting in a headache.
