Hey everyone, I've been bouncing around trying to get some ideas of what's wrong with my air conditioner. I took a video and you can hear the noise when I push the a/c button and I've it throttle. When I turn the a/c off it goes away

    So bad compressor or what?

Yea. I agree. Possibly bad bearing. It only occurs when you toggle the A/C switch. That means the compressor is engaging when the noise is present. Definitely something in the compressor...

take the belt off and test pulley by hand with magnetic clutch engaged. look for play or abnormal noise.
