If I put my vin into Toyota's vehicle specification page I get a report on what the latest toyota I bought came with from the factory.
But, when I use the same vin (17 characters) on oem parts stores it says there is a problem with my vin and to use the year, make and model lookup instead.
Ourisman, Olathe, Longo, to name a few.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
Enter in the year, make, and model on the parts website. When you get to a part that has finer distinction it will ask additional questions via dropdown (eg auto / manual).
