Coworker years ago was telling me about all these vintage honda bikes she grew up on, her dad was a Honda master tech for Honda NA and think he acquired these cheap or as gifts along the way. Had been bothering her for quite some time to sell or let me come pick them up, and eventually gave up. She came into work and said she finally had a chance to pull them out from the barn and sent over a bunch of photos, unfortunately reduced and poor quality but you get the idea.

Anyway, appears to be a Z50r 1984 and a 1985 XL350R model(tank has different markings than prior years). Hoping its a single carb model making fixing it easier.

I'm gonna get crass, and ask what kind of deal she's offering you for the pair. Saw an XL350 on Kijiji for a reasonable price. Cool bike. Z50's can bring some pretty crazy money. My dad probably picked up my 1985 for around $500 brand new. I plan to be buried with that bike.

bought and sold vintage bikes for the past twenty + years. traveled the midwest in the 8' bed 6 cyl, 5spd Tundra regular cab in some of the pictures. 90% went overseas. plenty of pics of Kawasaki's, Suzuki's, BMW's, Moto Guzzi's, and anything else that i could/can make a buck on. but this is a vintage Honda thread. :)

picked this up today. 18,000 miles, 100% stock. owned by father (now 90) and son (my age 66). son is a newly retired commercial airline pilot and selling of some vehicles. originally had it offered for $3500. dropped to $2600 yesterday on FB marketplace. he was rolling around the storage facility on it when i pulled in. F**K was it nice. needs some carb love but everything worked, nice and quiet. cosmetically a nine out of ten. got to go back tomorrow with a trailer to fetch it. paid $2K.
pics from listing. first things: remove windshield, trunk and driving lights. and yes those semi ape hanger bars were stock on the bike in 1977.
