Hey there...can anyone give any suggestions or point me in the direction of a good vinyl repair patch for my underside of my drivers side seat. Never noticed this until I was doing some detail cleaning underneath the seat the other day. Naturally it's from getting in and out for the last 20 years. The upholstery is still gorgeous but when I saw this I about went into a panic as my 2004 is near mint condition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

$15 Amazon Patch with work but off color/look crappy/eventually peel off leaving tht adhesive residue

    Apholstery Shop.
They would sew in that rectangle vinyl section with seat bottom cover removed
    IMO…..$100-$150 (or less)

im stating this bc I had entire seat re-done (including foam….seat bottom/seat back) for $450. Vinyl not leather

Agree with ControlCar, look at the vinyl where it's sewn in to the fabric, that is cracking too. If your wife is handy with a Singer you can remove the cover yourself and she can sew it. Don't ask how I know. :p

I must have been 25 or so and re-upholstered the entire interior of my '69 VW squareback. Door panels, carpets, everything. But every time I try to sew these days the wife comes behind with the seam ripper. She just does it better. :p
