I just vinyl wrapped some of my dash as well. FWIW my first attempt also started bugging me, was pretty good but a few tricky areas got me. Went back and second attempt came out perfect.

I used 3M 1080 which i feel was easy to work with, and a variable temp heat gun. The tricky parts are the bends because you have to heat and stretch to remove creases and really take your time.

Just go back and heat those bubbles, if you have decent vinyl those will come right out no problem.

Whoever said wrapping isn't good for curves doesn't have a clue what they're talking about. You can wrap damn near anything/any shape and have it look really good.

My piece was a little more straight forward but I think in your case I would still sequentially start from one end and work my way around, not saving the curves for the end. I think if you save the curves you will end up with excess material bunching in those bends and not have the ability to do anything with it.
