Thanks for the response. I'm interested to something similar to the camo tan that the military vehicles have. Do you have a link to that Avery matte khaki?

Is taking the truck back to stock possible? Does applying the vinyl mess up the paint?

No, the vinyl will not harm the paint. If you leave it on too long (depends on the specific vinyl, but usually 2-5 years is the life span), it can be a real pain in the ass to remove. If you had pre-existing paint issues, it is possible to tear some of the paint off with the vinyl, but that's only if the paint was getting ready to flake before you applied the vinyl.

^^ This. Worst case without underlying paint issues is your stuck peeling off dry-rotted vinyl. You will know when that starts as it cracks and gets almost powdery to touch.

Damn. That looks amazing and impressive for being your first job. Even more impressive that you had the cajones to "practice" on your own NEW truck.

Very nice. The color wouldn't be MY choice, but it still looks badass.

It's been shy over a year. How's it holding up? Have you tried to remove it?

    This looks awesome!
I have a question, I just wrapped my hood and roof because a. my sun fade is getting out of hand and b. plastic dip sucks
but, the wrapping on my hood keeps bubbling and the indent down to the headlights (or the crease i don't know what to call it..) I take a heat gun and get the bubbles out and it lays smooth and looks like a finished product, then when i come back a few minutes later there are bubbles back there.
do you know what would be causing this?

it has been cold here in Reno, NV the past week so my only assumption is that its to cold for the vinyl to stay stuck?
