My 2015 Tacoma started vibrating real bad on steering wheel, then it got so bad it was almost impossible to drive. So I went and had all 4 balanced and checked for bad tire or wheel bent. I took a forklift and used it to lift the back of my truck off the ground about 3 feet" I noticed when tires were spinning fast the rear of the truck was rocking back and forth. I can take 2 fingers and lift the axle 6 inches with zero resistance. So the shocks are blown too I guess I the shocks are blown because with the wheels off of the truck and the rear 1/2 of truck lifted by forklift about 2ft off ground , i started and put in high gear. Lmwatching tires and wheels both the new windshield outta my bronco. for knots I noticed the axle was vibrating and shocks blown also b/c I can pick each side up 6"without effort. [IMG] N

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
What about the leaf springs? You shouldn't be able to lift the axle by hand. Hypothetically, you could lift the axle without leaf springs and good shocks depending on where you got the leverage from; but not with relative ease.

The clamps that hold the spring pack together have stretched and all of them came off. They are all still in line but it's giving it a wobble. It go to the Toyota dealership next Monday the 17th so I can't drive it for a week plus I broke a front lug stud with my impact on the front wheels and it fell through the back into the hub and has my front wheel locked up so now I have to take all that crap AparT. It's one thing after another. I'm thinking it may be trading time

It was perfect then I got up and went dien the road and it was dangerous. The test diff was getting of center and pushing out 3 or4?inches either way. I'm guilty of overloading it, it's s truck, I'm a farmer with a diesaobut I use this to run errands . Sometimes the load is 3 times the max. I'd like to see a pic of the spring arch degree on a Tacoma 4x4. Mine are inverted or sagging now. I'd like to compare the difference in radius with a pick from under the. Back if truck

If you're overloading it that much I would be surprised if you didn't have a broken spring or two. Tacoma leaf springs aren't very good at holding up to loads.
Bottom one is stock. The top one is a Dakar leaf pack.
