Hey folks, a friend of mine has a 2008 Toyota Tacoma SR5 V6 4x4. She's expressed interest in getting a remote start system put in the truck and I offered to do some research for her.

I'm looking into the Viper 4105V 1-Way Remote Start System, and am curious to know if anyone has experience with this particular unit on their early 2nd Gen pickup?

While I can't remember specifically, I'm almost positive her pickup has a Panic button on the key fob, so I'm fairly sure it must have a theft-deterrent system. Wondering if that will complicate life. Any insight anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
