ive had this viper alarm installed sometime ago and i went jogging one day and i lost the remote... well i waited sometime before i bought another remote ( well my gf got it for me today for my bday)

My question is how do i program this new remote to make it work with my truck alarm and keyless start, its already installed just need the remote to work with my truck (direct replacement) not mine btw its on its way to me pulled the photo off of photobucket

Google the model number of the system and mostlikely there are instructions on how to program the remote.

The model number is usually found on the alarm brain, or if you have the owners manual it will tell you. if you cant find any info online i have access to directechs and i can find the owners manual on that site for you. just let me know

You have to use the valet button to program the remote... If you don't know where it is, check the drivers kick panel, a lot of installer put them there. It is a black button about half the size of a dime and will have a gray and a black wire connected to it. Once you have found the valet button turn the truck on (you don't have to start it) and press and release the valet button once. Press it again and hold it, you will hear a beep of the horn or a chirp of the siren. Now press lock on the new remote, wait for the siren/horn conformation and turn the truck off. Then test it, that should do it.
