Debating a high clearance bumper. Decided to chop a bunch of front plastic for the time being.

Is that the hidden mount from Torq Engineering?

I like the no plastic under the front, if doing a viper cut anyway. I was not aware of winch mounts before today, only slim bumpers.

They were sold out when I was looking. This is a knockoff. Welds seem good enough. I've installed frame stiffeners/reinforcement over the winch mount just in case.

I had it "hidden" before, but I REALLY don't like the plastic bumper piece on the 3rd gens. Just looks like a weird chin. I do a ton of water crossings in south Florida because of Hurricane season flooding and it kept popping the plastic snaps and it was driving me crazy. Finally decided to chop it.

I am hacking my plastic off after I get my slim bumper on. I never liked the front change from 2nd Gen and seeing the 4th Gen front now made me realize it has to go.
