Did you order any yet? I'm also interested in the Visions since my truck is black and will either stay black or be painted charcoal/dark gray. I see others have it on theirs here as I've been researching so fitment shouldn't be an issue in the 16x8, 4.5 bs, 0 offset. Only concern is so many have them and damn near 70 percent of truck wheels are similar colors & patterns. Go figure. I do like the fact that they're lightweight though. With the right tires (that I'm going for) the package should be around 60lbs or so. Win win!

That's exactly why I wanted something different! So many of the Tacoma's have that similar look with the wheels and I wanted to be a little different. Especially here on my island in Hawaii so many look the same! This is why I'm just going to try the trd center cap mod and see how long that holds me over. Lol at least I haven't seen that on any Tacoma here!

Not familiar with that mod or the name of any particular stock wheels though I do like the polished aluminum ones. Too bad they didn't come in chrome or with a deep lip as an option. I almost pulled the trigger on the Visions today simply due to cost but somehow I feel I would regret it. Right now I'm unsure of anything other than knowing I need some tires.

I almost did too. But like you something held me back as well. I have been bouncing between the visions, Konig countersteers, and fj trd trail teams in silver. I want to stay with the 16" diameter and keep my spacers on. And the only real option for me was going with the Trd wheels. They look really good to me and as much as I would love that .5" more of a wider stance than my 16x7 with 1.25" spacers I just can't seem to let the 900 dollars go for a .5" difference. Any other rim I go with I can't use the spacers and to me that's wasted money. :/

Well, there you go. I'm of the same. Can't see spending gobs of money on wheels when tires are running neck & neck. I've been reading & reading and I wouldn't mind trying the commonly recommended Michelin tires, but they run around $750 a set! Sounds like an excellent tire, but wow! I was trying to keep the wheel & tire package at $1000 & under, but even for 265/70r16 that seems a bit hard to do. I think I can wait it out. The Visions aren't as bad as they seem..... they don't have as much black as other wheels of the same color patterns but I would really like to see them up close to get the full effect before deciding. Conundrums....

Taking the risk. Chrome wheels are too expensive and a long lasting tire that rides good is key for me. Ordering the Visions and Michelin LT

Gonna go for it are you? Well the visions are nice for sure and michellins are great tires, i myself have the michellin atx at 2's and absolutely love them! I've not seen the visions in person so hopefully they do look as good when you get them! Did you order them already?

Yes, I ordered them. I got tired of searching and waiting. I got a quote for a set of moto metal chrome 16x8 for $590 but I'd rather spend the extra on good tires that won't need replacing for a while.

I don't have experience with those specific wheels, but Vision wheel is part of Vtec Wheels. Vtec has terrible customer service.

Meh... buying from discount tire direct alleviates some worry but to be honest, there's more investment in the tires than it is in the wheels at this point.

So I pulled the trigger on the silver trd trail teams! Ordered them today from Brent Berges Riverview Toyota in Arizona! Oddly enough it was cheaper and will be faster for me to get it from the mainland than getting it here on my island!!! Go figure! Now I have extra center caps cause I was going to attempt to do the mod but had a change of heart or should I say wallet? . Lol .. But at least I know I can keep my spacers on with these wheels so that makes me happy!:bananadance:

The main thing is feeling comfortable in your choice. Nothing is for sure unless you see it all together in person. Here's a quick mock up on mine. I'm satisfied. 627d2410bc006d86d48214ec27b16e1b_53121673ab3f353ac13ee7483f512832479de8bf.jpg

Once they're on then the actual difference will be seen. Other than that, yes... I think I did ok this time. Stereo upgrade then body & paint are next. Nothing fancy, just getting it back up to par.

Be sure to post up when your package comes in

I sure will! I'm excited! They are definitely a step up from the stocks. They are scheduled to be here on Friday and I have an appointment on Saturday at Costco to have the tires swapped over to the new rims. Im excited about the new rims of course but I'm even more excited about it being pushed out .5" more from the fender! I think it'll be perfect then.

On a side note, now costco won't do trucks with wheel spacers? 4 months ago they put new tires on for me with the spacers and now they won't touch it! I will have to take the tires off the truck and bring it in to them to swap out!

Shops are always coming up with ways to dodge some imaginary liability missile they claim to be aimed at their heads. I've even been told that they would mount tires on the wheels but I had to put them on myself simply because it "wasn't stock size". Needless to say they lost my business on anything else after that.
