I said you had an attitude....
If you dont get them to test & look at it, you will never know what may or may not really be going on......
Youre implying that my recommendation of getting it inspected cuz its happened twice now is a big waste of time, from your first hand very limited experience.....

It was more of a joke than anything. I think you read into it too much. I guess that's on me. I'm just gonna let this whole thing alone. You win.

    Joke or no joke...
The comment discourages people from getting their vehicles check out when they could have a legitimate concern....
Everyone on here whines & cries about what a horrible dealer experience they had, how they think theyre better than the toyota techs, toyota techs are just going to say theres nothing wrong with it, etc.....

His new battery can easily have 1 bad cell, a little load for a short period, dips the battery enough to cause a no start.
If he doesnt stress the system, its business as usual, but battery is still faulty.....
Your comment implies, he just going to waste his time going through the trouble of getting it looked at....

ok, ok, I done beating a dead horse, as the OP also probably wont go through the trouble for piece of mind, even though he really should...
But, what do I know, only been doing this my entire adult life, 32 years....

On a related topic, assuming you hook everything up properly, pos to pos.......neg to neg, is it bad to give someone else a jump start with the 2024 Tacoma, with all the electronics on this truck?

If done correctly, should cause no harm...

any hybrid owner who sees them self as an enthusiast should be well versed in where the 12volt battery is in a 4thgen iforce maxx. and how to get to it. it is very easy to get to and arguably easier to replace then a none hybrid. its lower, no dragging it over high fender. it will always be clean since its inside the cab. and it wont rip your radiator support apart when bajaing like a 3rd gen ;)

If it bothers you, get a portable jump pack. Pick yer choice. I have handed mine over several times to those stranded. This one I got over 4 years ago is still working:

I talked to the dealership today. I explained what happened with the drained battery. Service consultant said the following:
    * You need appointment.
    * They need the car between 24 to 48 hours to diagnose it.
    * They don't offer loaner cars. But they offer rentals for $50 per day.
    * If they determine someone you touched the battery, it will not be covered under manufacturer warranty. Well I touched it when I connected my ditch lights and rear reverse lights. Also they are likely going to tell me that my rear view camera that I installed is also working to drain the battery when the ignition is on.

Having heard all of this, I will not take it in and if the battery dies again, I will replace it myself.

Have you confirmed your dash camera is not causing parasitic draw? You can always get an auto parts store to test the battery. If it is bad the have Toyota replace it. Tell them to prove any mods you did caused the battery to go bad.

Try a different dealership? Even Walmart can test a battery! Hell I’d make the appointment and tell them that if they said we need it for 24-48hrs!

Sounds like the dealership is going to test it properly. AGM battery test should be done about 24 hours after the battery is at full charge. After sitting an AGM should be showing 12.85 VDC at rest. If below 12.7 VDC should be thinking about replacing. AGM batteries are highly prone to sulfating when deeply discharged. Use of a battery maintainer capable of desulfating may help recover a battery that has been deeply discharged and prolong the life of the battery.

Always use a AGM specific charger

sounds like your local dealership service writer doesn't want to deal with it. go to another dealership or call Toyota and complain often times they might get involved.
