So Im a big gamer, I have a xbox360 and i finally have a little cash so i want to buy a new TV so my games will look really good (Gears of War 2 is only 4 days away:D:D:D). Im thinking about this one

    http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5623471

Anybody bought it or just from the Vizio brand is it good or bad?

Or other suggestions from a different brand I would like the price to stay around 400.00.

    Thanks guys.

I have a Vizio 42 lcd 1080p. I've had it for over a year and love it. No problems what so ever and a geat picture. The speakers are the only weakness, but I have a Yamaha/Polk Audio surround sound to take care of that.

It's much easier for me to stay up all night than to wake up real early.

It's good to be young :D

i'd be more worried about the 700:1 contrast ratio and the 720p.....depends on what u want i guess.

The higher the number, the tv will display blacker blacks and whiter whites.

Samsung's current lineup doesn't have any TVs under 3000:1.

We got a big Vizio Plasma from Costco. Its a good TV, but the picture on standard def. is really lacking

If you can afford it, get a Samsung LCD. We have a smaller one downstairs and it has the best picture I have ever seen.

Ive got that exact vizio, its fine, no complaints, cheaper at costco though. My 48" Sony Bravia is a lot cooler though ;)

For quality Samsung or Sony is way to go for flat screens. For a reasonable price go with Vizio.
