    I need to figure out why the DD corner pods don’t come on manually with switch

    or figure out a way to trick the truck into thinking it’s in reverse for all of them

    for temporary trail lighting.
    don’t know about blinding people. If they go on to hit someone then what.

    hoped red would make the truck more visible. But don’t know about that.
    Good old CA. Truck could have the entire tailgate be a running light panel people will still hit it.

    as funny as it would be to see wheeling in reverse, it’s huge the difference in price between lighting in back and lighting in front…

    anyone with this type of stuff end up having any issues?

    I noticed my signals and hazard stops working sometimes now
    Especially after I try to use the hazards

    last time this happened years ago was when a different aftermarket light shorted and blew fuse

    plan now is make sure my wiring is secure and not having intermittent open short from movement
    Check fuses, make sure they’re clean and seated also

    and potentially replace what I believe is called flasher relay with stock or better aftermarket. Like the $20 max Diode Dynamics smart tap relay (not the fancy Wig Wag one)

    and maybe find a related fuse and slightly up it to the next size up, ie 10a->15a

    It might also help to switch my signal bulbs and reverse bulbs from stock halogen to LED, to reduce overall draw on the circuit

    _______

    might have nothing to do with the mod.
    For example, A/C that worked great just surprised me with not working. Simply pulling a fuse for it out and back in again (engine bay) got it On again…
    which makes me think that fuse for example had either shaken loose or developed some corrosion on the contacts that Out/In cleaned up.

    Sounds like a load issue. Just from your picture you have 3 DD pods + the LPR + who knows what else. Return to stock and then add one at a time. That’ll tell you if you have an issue with a specific light, module, etc. or if you simply need to balance the load. Hazards not working is pretty telling. The LPR is very low draw and I can’t speak for your DD pods.

    Yes 3 pods that I assume are low draw as well due to LED

    but in total potentially at the limit of stock design

    without deleting anything might be worth trying switch signals and reverse from halogen to LED

    as with hazards on it is 4 amber halogens flashing (power draw)

    actually…good point…finally got around to wiring up front ARB bumper lights
    which have a marker and signal that are probably halogen and not LED
    making even more consumer draws when hazards are on.

    more worried about what halogen would be consuming (at this point 6 or 8 bulbs) as that’s likely uses much more power than LED.

    was just curious if anyone else had this or what workaround such as if they perhaps changed fuse from 10a to 15a without issue
    that on LED I assume the wiring is no issue.

    (front corner bumper oval
    Inner = signal yellow
    outer = parking white)

    I'd use the 7pin towing T harness with the tails and battery charging circuit. (backlit added lamps) then relay(s) tied to battery charging circuit and Stop & Reverse tap (signal) to these relays.
