Are you able to post a photo from a little further back to show what the wires look like in the bed when the kit is installed?

So the wires split at the tail light where the relay is mounted and enter the bed at each rail cap -- that way you get a super clean wire run and don't need to cross the head of the bed rail to get to the other side; the wire is run under the bumper. When it enters the bed from the rail cap you can use the end-cap of the t-track to cover most of the wire before it goes into the wire hider -- here's a close up.

From light-to-light you can cut the wire hider to cover every inch of wire you want. You can really drive yourself nuts however OCD you want to go with it. Essentially this is all you'll see when you poke your head in there. They kind of disappear unless you're looking for them, though.

I should have been more clear. I meant photos to show where the wires enter the bed. The second picture shows a bit of wire that's exposed and traveling rearward toward the tail light/gate are.

There is a hole behind each tail light that leads to the bed rail.
    IMG_0105.jpg

We'll be providing a piece of wire to use as a fish tape that you'll push through there, lift up on the bed rail very lightly, and it'll come out the other side. You tape the WP2 connector to the fish tape and pull it through. It'll come out right here but can be situated to be very close to the t-track; this is just a raw photo.

If these are anywhere as good as the footwell lights you can't go wrong. I can't wait to try these once my finances recover from vet bills and medical bills. And probably after we find a new dog if my wife and boys get their way.

Sorry if this was mentioned already, but does this pull power straight from the battery? Or does it run on the same circuit as the domes?

Cause if it is the former, I am wondering if I can daisy chain the 2020+ OEM Bedlights, to install into my 2017.

Power from the battery. Could be used to also add the OEM bed lighting kit but the hard part there is cutting the bedside perfectly.

Yeah like Dave said it goes to the battery directly; we didn't want to chance overloading the OEM bed light circuit. The cool thing is if you don't have the OEM bedlights you could add them if you want to cut holes and they'll function just like they should from the factory + the auto function with the tailgate. You'll need a WP2 splitter with pigtails to make your connection. Or something custom from Dave because he likes those weird projects.

Hey folks -- just a stock update. It looks like we've already sold through about 25% of the first batch which are expected to ship out this month. If you miss the first batch we have a larger batch coming in mid-January, but just wanted to let you know there might be shipping-time differences between forum members. I estimate a few days (maybe a week; depends on when promo videos drop) and we'll be into batch 2.

Same. Just ordered. I have @daveeasa 's harnesses in my topper (with @switch 's fuse boxes/mounts) so I was happy to see that he was a prototype tester. Sounds like everything should work together nicely.

25% became 100% in a hurry. Just got backorder notification. Oh well, I'm in no rush. Installing them in the dead of winter is probably not happening.

You should still be in the first batch. Backorder is a default when you pre-order something I believe.

We’re testing the waters with the 3rd Gen and Tundra first. Depending on demand we can always modularize the cargo light harness portion of the kit to support other trucks; I’ve got connectors for the 4th Gen already. I’ll look into the 2nd Gen.

People fail to see the value adds initially until the forum corrects them . When we dropped the footwell kits people didn’t see what differentiated them from cheap Amazon kits. Took a minute until they saw them all over YouTube and the forums and miraculously those failed comparisons stopped.
