Again.... If they pull all of 22 watts per bulb there is no way you are getting 2800 lm pee bulb after going through the driver.

And good point on the cutoff.... Those things are aiming way up!

You adjust them by moving the base, thus moving the post deeper into the housing towards the front of the lens, or further away from the lens by adjusting the base. You basically make it longer or shorter so the the beam is focused or broadened much like adjusting the beam of a mag lite. You dan't change their direction from what I understand.

Then those aren't the exact ones in thinking of. There was set we installed, or corrected rather that the leds were supposed to be faded in a certain direction so they hit the bowl right and created a proper cut off line

did the same thing,, was leaning amber to match DRL, but order yellow for more light output. amber is darker and may reduce some output IMO.

Heard back from VLEDS... This doesn't matter much to me at this point but since you're very confidently denying the claims on the website, I just want to make sure people aren't getting misinformation from your posts about the VLEDS.

    Hi Matt,

The actual lumen measurement is around 2800lm in vehicle applications. They are indeed 15W chips but they are not running at the full power level. It's common to describe an LED chip by it's maximum possible power rating.

The 3600 max refers to the maximum possible output in a perfect environment - this is how a lot of competitors rate their products which isn't really fair as vehicle applications are usually a higher temperature environment. It's why we show it on the product page even though 2800lm is closer to the actual output.

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns we can help with.

    -----

… 2800 LM per single H11 light assembly and not per pair of fog
    lights, correct?

    -----

    Yes. 2800lm each.

id be impressed if they did 2800LM per bulb at the 21watts they are pulling.

but still... shitty throw, shitty cut off, shitty aim... and way blue color, not my cup o tea.
