Hey has anyone else tried to install the Volant cold air intake and Ram air scoop on their 2014 Tacoma? I've just had a pain in the butt night trying to install mine.

I ordered this kit from "New Level Motor Sports." Came today missing instructions among a few other small parts. A few things I noticed that didn't match on my 2014:

    - The mount on the Volent air box doesn't match up properly with the base of the air pump. (Must relocate the small air pump for the new air-box install)
    - There is no way to use the supplied 3/4" hose and 90-elbow to attach the OEM air hose to the air-pump in its new location.
    - The Ram air scoop does not fit in its intended location. Will hit the rad-overflow tube.
    - The plastic engine cover cannot be replaced as the left side mounting hole does not align with the Volant intake tube.

Has anyone else encountered these problems? Not sure if I should just sent this all back and ask for my money?

    I had similar problems.
The air pump will not fit at all, but it doesnt matter. Mine is held in by two of the mounts and works fine. The air hose will work with the elbow and extension. Just play with it. I did not have any prob with the scoop. The engine cover does sit a bit cocked to one side but if you rotate the intake pipe it will bolt up. Step back, drink a beer and try again. It is worth it when you get it done, sounds great and the performance does go up.
